Implant Crown + Custom Abutment
Sound familiar?

We already know the headaches.

The four we hear about most on implant cases. If your last few felt like this, keep reading.

01

You can't name the tech who made your last abutment

No name on your last abutment. When the contour is off, there is no one to call.

02

The stock abutment fights the tissue

A stock abutment sits too deep or too shallow, so you adjust tissue at the chair, unpaid.

03

Cement you can never fully remove

Cement a Ti-base crown chairside and the excess ends up where you cannot reach it.

04

A seat appointment that turns into a remake

Margins not verified before shipping turn the seat into a second appointment.

How we solve it

And here is how we fix each one.

Same order as above. No trick to it, just one master who owns your case start to finish.

The connection

First question: will you have my system?

Pick what you place. Either way the answer is yes, and here is why.

Placing something else? Type it in. Unlisted compatible systems are still covered.

Your bench sheet

Pick your system and this becomes the sheet for your case.

How it works

You scan. We do the rest.

Four steps from your operatory to your chair, and only the first one is yours.

Step 1

After osseointegration, seat a scan body and scan the scan body, opposing arch, bite, and the soft-tissue emergence.

Step 2

Send the Rx: implant system and platform, retention choice (screw vs cement), and screw-channel angulation.

Step 3

Your lab technician aligns the scan body to the implant library, designs the crown down to the emergence profile, then designs the abutment to match.

For Ti-base, the zirconia is cemented to the base extraorally so all cement is removed.

Step 4

We mill, hand-finish, and run scan-overlay QC, then ship a ready-to-place unit built for your platform.

How your scan finds the implant
Before you send the case

The three things about implant crowns nobody explains

None of this is on you to know. We prepare it, then tell you what we did and why, so the case is decided before it leaves your chair.

How the crown attaches

Screw, cement, or the best of both

We build SCRP by default, so the crown seats clean with no cement under the gum and still unscrews if it ever has to.

See how it works

An implant crown joins the implant one of three ways. The choice quietly decides whether the crown can come back out, whether the margin stays clean, and whether any cement is left under the gum. Here is the plain version.

Cement-retained (CRP)

The crown is cemented onto the abutment, the same way a crown goes on a natural tooth.

Clean look with no access hole, but cement can be left behind under the gum, and the crown cannot be unscrewed later if the implant ever needs service.

Screw-retained (SRP)

The crown screws straight into the implant through a small channel in the biting surface.

Fully retrievable with no cement to leave behind, but the access hole shows, and it only works when the implant angle lets the channel exit away from the edge that chews.

Screw and cement (SCRP)What we build by default

We cement the crown onto the abutment in the lab, off the mouth, then the whole unit screws into the implant.

The clean look of cement with no subgingival cement under the gum, and the crown still unscrews whenever you need it. Because we bond it extraorally, we can also angle the screw channel to correct a moderate implant tilt.

What we prepare for youwe build SCRP by default wherever the case allows, so the crown seats clean and still comes back out if it ever has to. When the angle or the esthetics call for a pure screw or pure cement design, we make that instead and tell you why. You never specify the retention choice; we read it from the scan and confirm it with you.

Why the abutment is custom

The part between the implant and the crown, made to your scan

The connector between implant and crown, milled to the exact case you scanned and included with the crown, so the gum looks natural and the margin stays clean.

See how it works

The abutment is the connector between the implant in the bone and the crown you see. A stock abutment comes in a few fixed shapes. A custom titanium abutment is milled to the exact case you scanned, and that one difference decides how the gum looks and how clean the margin stays.

  • Natural emergenceShaped to the emergence profile you scanned, so the crown rises out of the gum like a tooth, not a plug.
  • A margin you can cleanThe margin sits at, or just below, the gumline where you can actually reach it, which is what lets SCRP leave nothing behind.
  • Quiet angle correctionA custom abutment can move the crown to where the tooth should be, not where the implant happened to land.
Titanium abutment

The strongest foundation, milled from titanium.

The default for back teeth and heavy bites, and backed for three years.

Zirconia on a Ti-base

A tooth-colored abutment on a titanium base.

For the smile zone, where a metal abutment could cast a gray shadow through thin gum. Backed for one year.

What we prepare for youevery implant crown is designed with its custom abutment as one unit, titanium as the standard and priced together, so there is no surprise line item and no separate abutment to order. When the case is in the smile zone we flag the zirconia option instead, so no gray shows through the tissue.

When the case grows

One master, from a single crown to the whole arch

The same master who finishes a single crown also plans the surgical guide and the full arch, so every part is designed to fit together.

See how it works

The same master who finishes your single implant crown also plans the guide that places the implant and the full arch when a patient needs everything at once. One bench, one standard, so the parts always fit together.

The Honest Math

A $200 crown that rarely
comes back.

Slide to your case volume. Most labs charge $600 or more, and more of it comes back. Ours is $200, and the difference is a fully digital workflow, never the materials.

Before you ask

Questions dentists actually ask.

The things worth knowing before you send the first case.

Screw-retained, cement-retained, or SCRP?

For most cases we build a screw-and-cement crown, called SCRP: we cement the crown onto the abutment in the lab, off the mouth, then screw the whole unit into the implant. You get the clean look of cement with no subgingival cement under the gum, and the crown still unscrews if the implant ever needs service. When the angle or the esthetics call for a pure screw-retained or cement-retained design, we build that instead and tell you why. You never have to specify it; we read the retention choice from your scan and confirm it with you.

Do you support my implant system?

We support all major implant systems out of the box and align your scan body to the matching library. If your system is not listed, we still include free scan bodies, up to 2, so you are not stuck sourcing them yourself.

What is your turnaround?

Standard turnaround is 10 days, and because one lab technician owns your case start to finish, it is a date you can actually promise the patient rather than a moving target.

What happens if the crown does not fit?

It is remade at no cost to you, and you do not need to return the previous prosthetic. Marginal fit is CAD-verified and every unit passes scan-overlay QC before shipping, which is how we keep remakes under 1 percent.

How is the price so much lower than what I pay now?

Seoul lab wages and a fully digital workflow make it possible. Never the materials and never the process: the same CAD-verified fit and the same 1:1 master. Create a free account to see the full fee schedule.

If it does not seat

The honest answer to the worst case.

A free remake does not rescue today's appointment. Here is what actually happens in the next hour.

  1. Keep the patient comfortable
  2. Message your master, not a queue
  3. We find what happened
  4. The remake is on us
The next move
