We recommend the porcelain for the case. Your patient still chooses.

Pressed, at the bench

How it is made: Pressed from a lithium disilicate ingot, then characterised by hand.
Thickness: 0.5 to 1 mm
What it gives you: Strength with the shade built into the ingot. The porcelain for a case with room to prep.

Layered, at the bench

How it is made: Built by hand on a refractory die, one fired layer at a time.
Thickness: As little as 0.3 mm
What it gives you: The most lifelike translucency there is, in the thinnest shell. The porcelain for enamel you want to keep.

Reduction is decided tooth by tooth on the wax-up, never by the porcelain alone.

A Dentlink master builds every feldspathic veneer on its own die and fires it layer by layer. E.max is pressed, then characterised by the same hand.
